Awesome format…..the turkey looks delicious - wish it were on my Thanksgiving table!
My most memorable Thanksgiving? Probably my first one to host as a newlywed. I didn’t even make turkey…i made BRISKET!
Wow! Brisket! I’m one for tradition, but there are times when that just sounds too good to pass up!
Most memorable but not favorite was introducing my dad to my fiance on Thanksgiving day. We showed up 5 minutes late and my dad had already begun eating and was upset that we were late. My dad is an extremely punctual person and my husband the opposite. Needless to say, they have never really hit it off . . .
My most memorable Thanksgiving would be the one where my brother introduced his fiance to our family - and we didn’t even know he was dating anyone!
My most memorable Thanksgiving was the first one I prepared as a newly married 19-year old… I had no idea there was a bag of parts stashed in the cavity of turkeys, and I was quite embarrassed when it was discovered at the table while my husband carved it to serve our families. We’ve been married 24 years this year and there isn’t a Thanksgiving that’s gone by that our first Thanksgiving and the discovery of those parts hasn’t been mentioned!
Army Mom, love that story, and I know you are not alone.
