Put on your lederhosen, it’s time to celebrate Oktoberfest! Here are two ways to join in the fun and enjoy a true taste of Bavarian culture around The Woodlands.

Don’t miss the third annual Oktoberfest celebration going on this weekend at Town Green Park.

Beginning Friday, October 14 at 6 p.m. through Sunday at 6 p.m., sample the finest craft beers at the biergarten, stop by the “Winery” tent, shop vendor booths, watch chef demonstrations, take part in games and activities and enjoy live music on the main stage. Tickets are $10 for those 10 years and up. Proceeds benefit The Woodlands Rotary Club Foundation, raising funds for student scholarships.

Grab lunch at Baker St. Pub & Grill and sink your teeth into the Bavarian Bacon and Ham Pretzel Sandwich or the hearty German sausage sampler.

Accompanied by home-style kettle chips, this Oktoberfest-inspired favorite features grilled Black Forest Ham, strips of crispy bacon, melted Swiss cheese and tangy Horseradish glaze atop a toasted, soft pretzel bun. Or, try the sausage sampler of Knockwurst, Bratwurst and smoked Polish Sausage served with a side of braised red cabbage, warm German potato salad and spicy mustard for dipping.

Guten Tag!
